Vacay

We got back from CA last night after a fun, laid-back adventure. Here's the run-down:

We left super early last Saturday (Feb. 19th) and drove straight to Newport Beach (minus a couple stops). The drive went amazingly well even though we went through a snowstorm and had two little kids in tow.

We stayed at a little motel near the beach. We mainly did lots of biking around on Balboa Peninsula.

This guy got washed up along with lots of ocean trash - pieces of sunglasses, plastic toys, bits of seaweed.

Jozie said this ride made her dizzy so I'm glad it was free.

Chad flew home on Tuesday and me and the girls started the second round of our vacation. We met up with our Robertson friends from Salt Lake and stayed with several of their relatives. It was fun to get to meet their family members.

We spent two days at Sea World in San Diego.

This show was neat and included lots of acrobats and divers.

Next we stayed in Laguna Beach.

Haven loved letting the water wash over her feet.

 

There were tide pools in these rocks that were really neat. You could touch the water plants and they would move. :)

 

We're indebted to Brigita and her many kind family members for taking us in and letting us be part of their time together. We thoroughly enjoyed it!
