We just took our Christmas tree down two days ago. None of us wanted to and the only thing that got me to do it was the coming of Valentine's season, which we're starting tonight. :) Valentine's season will never be as big as Christmas, but it's a great time to do some special things and cheer up a bleak February. Here are my two favorite Valentine's traditions:
Family Heart Attacks
Each year we write up things we love about each other and put them on bedroom doors (we also have a door for writing up things we love about people who don't live here). The girls save their hearts for a long time and we love the chance to write up our love.
Service Hearts
Each person in our family (except Baby Claire) will get a cardstock heart with their name on it. Throughout Valentine's season, they can do something nice for someone else in our family and leave their heart there. Then the service recipient does something nice back, leaving that person's original heart to give it back to them. I'm excited!
