This week marked a milestone in my parenting life. Jozie participated in her first program on a stage. She's in a Spanish immersion preschool and they put together a Christmas program with the kids singing Christmas songs in Spanish and saying a couple lines each. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the program, of course. All morning Jozie didn't want to be in the program, but since she's three she hasn't figured out yet that she really could refuse to go, so with some run-throughs of all the songs and her lines by way of her polly pockets, and some persuasion by me, we went. She looked like she had a lot of fun up on stage. During one of the songs she really got into it and ended up in the front of everybody just doing her own moves. It was pretty funny. She didn't say her lines, but I'm just glad she was up there and that it ended up being a good experience.
