Asian Mexican Food...

The other night we checked out a Mexican restaurant in Old Taipa called Taco's. It was incredibly hilariously awesome. Here are the things we ordered:

The one in the front is a chimichanga. On the outside, it looked legit, but on the inside was beef pot pie, complete with peas and carrots. It wasn't a bad flavor, but it belonged in a different restaurant (more "homestyle" than "Mexican"). The next dish up was enchiladas - tortillas, beans, cheese, and spaghetti sauce. Not bad, but not Mexican. The next one, the quesadilla, takes the cake. Let's take a closer look:

Ingredients according to the menu: refried beans, cabbage, cheese. We asked them to hold the cabbage. What we got: refried beans, cheese, peas, carrots, corn, onions, beef, and salsa with pickles in it. It was goulash between two tortillas. This friends is probably the pinnacle of hilarious entrees we will order in Macau. Hard to beat.

The food wasn't super bad, but it definitely wasn't Mexican. I want to meet the menu creator and learn about their source of inspiration.

Price: $80 USD.
