One Sunday morning we thought we'd get outside and check out a lake/pond that's near us. I can't remember what its name is, but it's just a few minutes drive by car from our house.
This is what you see what you first get there:
That big wall is the other side of a big dam that created the lake.
On the way to the lake, we found this cool grass sledding hill!
Here's the lake. It was really nice to be up in nature. The lake is kind of small (you can walk around it in under 1/2 hour) but I'm still glad it's there.
Those are paddle boats you can rent. Unfortunately that's the only thing you can do in this lake. They won't even let you go to the shore and touch the water (we tried and a guard stopped us).
