My aunt Nadene came into town in October, so we threw her a hiking party. My cousin, Courtney, joined us, along with my aunt Lora and her son, Austin. It was a beautiful time of year and great to spend time with these great people. I think I got more DNA from Nadene than most - I'm her lookalike and in a lot of ways, her act-a-like too. :) Which is fine by me!
Mt. Timpanogos is a special place because Nadene's parents (Richard and DawnEtta Dalley) took their kids (including my dad) hiking here at least once a year. Nadene was just a bit younger than my dad and they were good friends growing up.
