I LOVE this recipe from allrecipes.com. It's seriously really really good. It's got LOTS of veggies, so all those veggies cancel out the yummy pie crust and buttery sauce, right?
I made it a couple months ago and Jozie decided she didn't like it.
I made it yesterday and included Jozie in all the cooking. She and Haven helped put carrots, broccoli, and celery in the pan. They stirred the butter and onions. They unrolled the pie crust and spread on the insides and sauce. They watched it go in the oven.
Guess who loved it this time and said we are really good cooks??
Ownership is where it's at I say.
Unfortunately, that stops working at some point. At least for us it has.
