8. I'm thankful that I ran into a nice lady from Rio de Janeiro today. I asked her to speak to me in Portuguese and it was beautiful to hear. Love the soft 'j's and hard 'ao's, as in a nasalized 'wow.'
9. I'm thankful to have spent a nice dinner with great women. Small group girl talk is inspiring.
10. I'm grateful for photographs because they easily remind me of great moments.
11. I'm thankful that it's still hot in the afternoon even if that means the warm clothes I put on in the morning are too much by late in the day.
12. I'm thankful for a daily warm shower.
