Spoooooky Dinner

We had a fun spooky dinner this year. It was so great I'm going to figure out a way to include more people next time. If you want to come, let me know next October! We'll do a finger foods version and fill up the house with weird food and costumed people!

This was our food:

Hot dog mummies

Olive eye balls

Candy corn yogurt

Pumpkin chili, regular chili, and bread bowls

Worms!

These worms were quite a project. We ended up extracting them from their straw molds with pliers and screwdrivers. I've since heard that laying them out flat and rolling out the worms with a rolling pin works well.

We sure had fun eating these worms!

These were our guests:

Haven, aka Butterfly Princess

Glenda, aka "green haired lady," and her brother, Don, aka "peace out dude." Mike was also there but my camera missed him.

Crystalyn, aka "drill team beauty"

Chad, aka "Storm Trooper" (his helmet has working buttons that say things like "all units, fire at will!")

Me, aka "Golden Witch," and Aaron, aka "the costume box"

Jozie, aka "Butterfly Princess"

...aka "Witch Girl" in an impromptu play

Mason, aka "Spiderman"

...aka "Spiderman Mohawk Fairy"

...aka "Spiderman Grandma Dancer"

...aka "Kangaroo" in the impromptu play

Melissa, aka "tough girl with a real knife"

Taylor and Cameron, aka "Ninjas" and various characters in various plays

Emmett, aka "Batman with wings"

I missed a couple, but that's most. Good times!
