Every June a group of middle schoolers practice being in a marching band for Murray's 4th of July. Our house is on one of their practice routes, and the girls love following them down the street (often in our PJs) while they play. When the 4th of July was over, Haven kept asking me when we could follow the band again. So, it was fun to meet some neighbor-friends and see the Days of '47 parade on the 24th.
After the parade we went over to a very crowded Liberty Park to play and eat lunch. I LOVE the water area they've set up there - it represents the Wasatch Front with its many canyons and streams that flow into the Great Salt Lake.
I let Jozie and Haven pick a little ride they wanted to do and they picked the airplanes. So cute!
