4th

For the 4th we hung out in our old backyard - where Chad's mom lives in our old house in Rose Park. It was nice to be there again and play. We set up the old slide and ladder to use as a waterslide and enjoyed the tree swing Chad made years ago.

Then we were lucky to happen upon a neighbor party at the Klints' and see old friends we love! (and bum off their GREAT fireworks show)

Having just come back from Macau the week before, I felt especially grateful this 4th of July. We are so lucky to be here. All places and cultures have wonderful things to contribute, but for me, American grassy suburbs are where it's at. It is soooo nice to live like this. We are so lucky.
