September

September was fantastic. It was our first full month back in the U.S. Haven turned 6. The kids got into the routine of American school. Our stuff came safely from the other side of the world. We played and played and played outside in the grass.

One highlight: sleeping out in the backyard again. Ah, we love this.

I got to have school lunch with Jozie.

The girls found treasures among old stuff we had stored here in Utah.

A big delivery arrived!

The packers in Macau were...interesting. They made their own boxes. Can you see the desk inside this box?

Not sure what the point of separating out the bookcase legs was...?

So many simple joys! A garden hose! A patch of soft grass!

We visited the mountains!

We experimented with getting a new pet. First was a shelter dog named Suzy (no picture unfortunately). Next, we tried a cute one named Cinnamon.

We finally settled on this little dear, who ended up being named Fuzz. He's a Shih Tzu and the sweetest little guy. You'll see him in pics off and on from here. Youngest member of the fam. :)

Popsicles! Grass!

New neighborhood friends!

I enjoyed regularly mingling with my awesome Legacy Tree group again. Getting to be back in Utah is fantastic for that.

Grandma B (Chad's mom) plays with Claire every morning while I work. I'm glad Claire's got her around.

My old friends came over. Great to see them, as always!!

And this...is heaven. Not much better than this, truly.
